Having sampled quite a few of the capitals restaurants in recent years and been disappointed, the Oxo Restaurant was a marvellous exception.
From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and special - not taken for granted and with a deal of disdain (The team at The Shard may wish to take note).
The food was very good and beautifully presented: my partner and I shared the lightest soufflé dessert I have ever had!
The wine waiter was superbly and subtly attentive. Indeed, that could be said of all the waiting staff.
My partner summed up the evening perfectly I think: “charming “.
And I haven’t even mentioned the wonderful views...
Will be back.

Overpriced and overrated. Guess nobody dares speak up. Crammed in, so noisy couldn't hear or speak to person sat next to you. Staff miserable, they couldn't care less. Food was absolutely awful. Fillet steak so badly cooked was chewy, cheese and cashew tart no cashews and had really bad after taste, spring chicken more like on its last legs chicken, soup mixture of confusing tastes and so many other faults. Automatic 12.5% service charge. They are just living off location and Harvey Nichols name. Avoid at all costs. So many other better places to choose. Couldn't get out of there fast enough.

Evening meal eagerly looked forward to but ended in disappointment all round.
If you took the view away we would've come away with nothing . Poor service , very loud venue and food well below what was expected . Without the name and venue there is no way you can justify £75 per person for 2 courses . Deeply disappointed .

Booked this for my Daughters 21st, booked the Brasserie in error, still nice but wanted really special, the staff couldn't have been more helpful, moved us to a lovely table with a perfect view in the restaurant. The food and service were fabulous, Thank you.

Dined at the Brasserie. Excellent service (the only redeeming feature).

Ordered the king prawn starter. No “shell” or finger bowl provided.

Zero ambience; no background music; tables and diners packed like sardines; very noisy - couldn’t speak to my partner without raising voice - and in so doing ensuring the attention of the neighbouring table.

I counted 17 cranes in the alleged great view.

My life was not enriched by this experience. In fact, I would have had a better experience at Burger King.
