Description: A perfect spot for pre or post theatre dining - good location and last orders for food taken at midnight. The interior style is 'theatrical nostalgia' with lots of photographs, mirrors and puppets. Huge gold swag and tail curtains and antiquity style statues adorn the entrance. There is lively music on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings. The staff are wonderful and very accommodating - definitely a place to visit time and time again. The menu has a wide selection of French and Mediterranean dishes, pastas and grills. Start with the soupe de poissons or avocado pear with prawns and move onto sea bass Salieri or noisettes d'agneau perigourdin.

Visited early evening it was quiet but got very busy before we left
The food was superb, ordered chicken & sea bass and both were beautiful
Service was good too
The only disappointment was when the bill came there was a service charge on it which didnt advise it wasnt compulsory. I prefer to decide if to leave a gratuity and actually would have done but thought it was already on the bill, it wasnt till later I realised it hadnt been charged. Ultimately I didnt leave a tip, shame because it was deserved

Service was friendly and the food was good. Drink options were limited ( a few more bottled beers would fix this for us!). Portions were reasonable.

This is a very comfortable restaurant and they make you welcome when you arrive. The menu is simple but they cook the food very well. Presentation too is excellent. Good wines though expensive - but this is a prime location so that is probaly why.
Service is mixed and and the manager should make sure his staff are more attentive - but for this feature, I would have scored "excellent"

My last review criticised the poor service. We decided to try it again as we were in the area. The menu is shorter but better and this time the service was excellent. The food was very well cooked and delicious
