Description: Set in an impressive Georgian building next to such neighbors as The National Gallery and Nelson’s Column in Trafalgar Square you can find London’s best and friendliest Tex-Mex restaurant. Once inside the restaurant you will find two floors, each with it’s own bar. On the ground floor you enter into a Mexican village at fiesta time with festival lights and sombreros giving that party atmosphere. There is also in view the open planned kitchen area where you can see the chefs preparing your meal to order. Whilst on the first floor you step into our 1800’s saloon, with a Texas Long Bar décor, thereby combining the best of both sides of the border. The food is traditional Tex-Mex but a well thought out menu with specialties such as Southern Fried Chicken, Fajitas and Enchiladas along with a large selection of great steaks. Desserts include Strawberry Margarita Cheesecake, Key Lime Pie and of course Sizzling Apple Pie – This means that you are always spoilt for choice.

The food was not good, but the service was even worse. Go to La Perla just a short walk from here for a much more authentic Tex-Mex experience!

The food claims to be Mexican, just as Texas claims to be great. But both are horrible. You want good so-called Mexican food in London? Go to one of the four Wahaca outlets. It's not really Mexican, but it is really good.

A sucker for Tex-Mex style food, I really enjoyed eating here. Portions were generous, service was friendly and is in a fantastic location in London, close-by to Trafalgar Sq.

The Texas Embassy is always worth a visit for either lunch or dinner when in London. The food is very nice and reasonably priced. Good service.

This place is terrific! That's all I need to say. If you visit London and are missing a little bit of old US of A, then go by and have dinner at the Texas embassy. I hope your experience is as good as mine was! The service was excellent and the food was awesome. I am going to take my wife here some day.
