This hotel ticks all the boxes if you're attending an event at the O2 arena.
Brilliant helpful staff - Lea who checked us in was really informative about all the services the hotel offers.
Room 503 offered a decent view, 501 may give you more of a view of canary wharf, but the lights at night make such pretty views. And that bed was heavenly and you melt into the pillows.
Didn't use it but the spa looked amazing from the advert in the foyer.
You can also access the O2 arena via a hotel guest only entrance.
We didn't use the restaurant or any other amenities as we literally stayed out of convenience - didn't want to battle to get on to the Tube or busses with everyone leaving the arena.
Check out was quick and simple porcess, staff again really helpful to detail how to access our onward journey.

Would definitely stay again if I was in the area or attending the o2

The hotel indeed has the benefit of being located next to the O2 Arena and the direct walkway ensures that our guests easily access the venue within minutes.

Our rooms are absolutely beautiful with some wonderful views over Canary Wharf as well as very modern additions to each room to add to the experience.

I would definitely visit and recommend this hotel. The room is large, lush and, clean with a lot of complimentary items in the room. The bed is huge and can't help but to jump on it after putting the kettle on. Lovely view of the River Thames. The staff are great and very friendly. Unfortunately after watching a concert and having plans for the following day so I didn't get to use the spa facilities but that's a good enough reason to come back again soon!

Perhaps you have not tried stayingh near the O2 because there isn't much else in the neighborhood. That's, still true, but everything is easily reached, and this hotel is well worth a little extra travel. The Intercontinental is reliably superb with a great Spa and Fitness Center, wonderful food in a spectacular rooftop bar and restaurant, As always, the service is attentive, friendly and thoughtful. Try the cable car nearby, jump on the tube to go into town, or take the wnderful water taxi down the Thames. You won't regret it.

We spent our anniversary weekend at this hotel for the first time and needless to say it met up with its reviews! We are actually still here, and there has been no flaw or fault. All has been good and the room is spotless (Kingsize Superior Room). But the highlight was Thabo the receptionist. He was a breath of fresh air and made sure to look after us. We asked for a longer check out time and he did not even question it because of our anniversary. He made it that much more special! If you’re ever coming here, you won’t be disappointed, but make sure you find Thabo because he will put the icing on the cake!

Undoubtedly the stay was great. I visited the hotel for an event , stayed there for 4 days. The hotel really sets the bar high with its interiors,facilities, service, auditoriums. And every support staff was helpful, surprisingly even after the event, Marian Balint especially. Loved the stay, the event experience and don’t miss the view from skybar :)
