Gone for breakfast, great ambiance staff need to be more educated regarding menu and food , asked for items on menu and wanted something removed and the young lad said that's how it comes and was unwilling to take an item off and replace with something else

Was nor very happy with his answer but had something else and coffee not sure will be recommending anyone if they are stuck in the menu and can't make a change like taking a sweet potato hash brown of the dish and replacing with something else

Sad nice atmosphere great service , at least they changed the music and we're playing nice music unlike last time were playing Rap music for breakfast

Will still recommend this place as it's still a beautiful place to go to

This is what I over-heard the manager say to a member of his team yesterday - which explains why this is such a lovely restaurant. The food is excellent and the staff are genuinely attentive. I spent almost a day (studying for exams!) at Charlotte’s. The second day, one of the staff, Josh, welcomed me back and said that he’d booked the table for me for the day in case I wanted to stay again - which I did and I’ll certainly be coming back!

Myself and my partner booked a 7.30 table on Saturday evening via Openable,we received a confirmation from the restaurant by phone,a good sign.
Warm welcome upon arrival, atmosphere, (old stables) lighting and music just right .....and a great table too.
Wine ordered and delivered promptly, onto the food.Modern British with lots of interesting combinations. We went for a Cuttlefish and a Rabbit terrine starter, both very good.As were the Calves liver and Pork belly mains. The menu is short, the open kitchen theatre fun ,the brigade can really produce exceptional food .Service very good .The bill was for 2 courses a bottle and a half of wine and service £100,and worth it .

I ate here shortly after it opened and wasn't bowled over, so it was great to re-visit and find out how good Charlotte's W5 can be. Starters of cuttlefish and treacle-smoked salmon were delicious and generously proportioned. Mains of lamb steak and calf's liver perfectly cooked. House red by the glass extremely drinkable. Complimentary sparkling water a plus. Relaxed atmosphere, plenty of space, interested but not obsequious service. I will definitely be back.

We visited for brunch on a Sunday morning and had a lovely time at Charlotte’s. The building itself is very attractive from outside and has a stylish, relaxed ambience inside. We had French toast & the sweet potato hash, both of which were great. The perfect start to a Sunday, will definitely be back to sample the rest of the menu!
