This place was super easy to find coming up from the south. The parking in York can be a nightmare, and our host took care of it for us for a mere two pounds a day!! Everything we wanted including the Minster was just around the corner. The hosts are charming, the room was spotlessly clean. The kitchen had everything we needed and as I love to cook, it got quite a work out. Nice shower and bath in the room and a nice view of a quiet street to watch daily life in York. Timed it to see the Tour De France and were not disappointed. You simply will not find a better place in town, with better location, better value, or more charming hosts! This place is a must for any future visit we make to York!!

We had a great week in this wonderful flat. The lovely people who own it met us on the first day and took time to help us navigate the area. It's so close to everything you'll want to do in York. The rooms are all great sizes and I loved the courtyard.

This accommodation is absolutely perfect. The 4 poster bed is beautiful and decor throughout is of an amazingly high standard.
Location is also fantastic- 5 minute walk from the Minster and York city centre.
Superb hosts- very welcoming!
We had a brilliant stay and can't recommend it enough - thanks very much and hope to see you again very soon x

So handy for everything - Minster, Theatre, Walls walk, Snickelways walk not to mention the excellent and friendly Sainsbury's Local round the corner in Bootham! Maybe I landed lucky, but the flat was very quiet. A bit of traffic noise from Gillygate, but subdued. Only intrusive noise was the occasional ambulance siren.
Bear in mind, if you have mobility issues, or for that matter large luggage, that this flat is up a narrow staircase with a landing two thirds of the way up. Similarly you could walk to the railway station, but some of the pavements are less than wheeled suitcase friendly. A taxi is only £5....
Highly recommended. The flat and the taxi!!

Great little studio apartment in a very central location near the Minster. Unit had a full complement of kitchen utencils, dishware, and cooking pans and a very comfortable 4 poster bed.Location was perfect for exploring the historic town, and had great little shops and restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay here again should I return to York!
