I recently stayed at the Dovecote barns with my wife and seven month old son for my 40th birthday. From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and at home. Brigitta was very welcoming and the welcome basket was a lovely touch and very much appreciated after a long journey. The barns have been renovated to a very high standard and we would definitely stay again.

The barn was finished to a high standard and had everything you would need for a relaxing retreat. We were welcomed to a lovely hamper of preserves, wine, eggs and home made bread. Both owners are very welcoming and informative. The accommodation was spotless and had a really nice relaxed cost feel. The weather was really good so we enjoyed the private patio and garden. Best place I have stayed at. The standard of the rooms was better than many if the top 5* hotels iv stayed in and by far the best self catering. Booked our return visit.

The barns are very comfortable and beautifully furnished.We went in November and it was lovely and cosy but with the easily accessed and well designed outside spaces it would be just as good in the height of the summer. Birgita went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed - we had a lovely time and would thoroughly recommend a stay!
