Visiting theatre asked our son for a recommendation. Proximity to theatre was key as we are not regulars in Nottingham. On entering this felt like a bar and wondered if we had got the wrong place populated by customers much younger than us. The mezzanine eating area was comfortable with excellent conscientious and considerate service and sufficiently close to the bar to feel the atmosphere but far enough away so as not to feel you were dining in the bar. Food was of very high standard and served at just the right speed so that we weren’t concerned about rushing but comfortable between courses. Thoroughly recommend the parsnip soup, the chicken and chorizo with potatas bravas and Eton mess
