My partner and I ordered a bhindi side, chicken biryani and a prawn curry, through Deliveroo. I'd had the first two items before and really liked them. So I suspect it was the prawn curry that gave us the food poisoning. Tasted good whilst eating but during the night, it was the worst case of food poisoning I've ever had!!!! Spewing from both ends and had to call in sick from work the next day (both me and my partner).
Will never, ever eat here again.

Thank Priyanka D

When we entered the residential area from Iffley road, we couldn't believe there was a restaurant located inside here. We were luckily surprised to find a very nice one with many choices on the menu, a charming waiter and superb food. The portions are big, served rapidly and deliciously spiced. If you are into Nepalese food or curious about it and are in or close to Oxford, this is your choice!

We visited on a Saturday night and got a set menu. The price was very reasonable and the food was amazing! We also got an extra starter complimentary. The staff were very friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back.

This gem is hidden away on Howard Street in East Oxford. Housed in a traditional old pub formerly known as the Donnington Arms, it has taken a new lease of life as a Nepalese/Indian restaurant. If you are visiting Oxford and want a great Indian dining experience - venture out of central Oxford, down the Cowley Rd to Everest!

A good sign is that locals simply love the food here and come and treat themselves as often as they can. It is unpretentious and charming. The staff are warm and genuine. The food is quick to come, and as you will see, the most delicious Nepalese/Indian flavours in Oxford.

It still has the pub side with a bar for casual dining and a good selection of beers as well as the restaurant side for more formal dining. The atmosphere is cosy and relaxed.

If you think you've tried good Nepalese/Indian food, then try this place. They get everything just right from sizzling tandoori dishes, to creamy kormas, tender meats and warm fluffy naan breads.

We were served by Deepak and he was a delight. I ordered the chicken tikka masala and was dubious, because that dish is rarely done well. Honestly, you could taste the smoky tandoori flavour within the gravy. Gorgeous food.
