Booked as close to where my daughter lives. Rooms are clean, tidy and welcoming. Easy to find and on the tram route so the city is very accessible. Very quiet at night (was a bit worried with it being on a main road). Booked as bed and breakfast and the breakfast was AWESOME. Both veggies and that was not a problem. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Will be using this hotel every time I visit in the future. Cannot praise highly enough. Thanks for a brilliant stay.

For the price is was everything we expected and more. The bed wasn't the best ever, but if you are dead tired it is wonderful. The pub downstairs was fun and had a enjoyable selection of beers. Really nice people, wonderful staff. Breakfast was superb.

A Victorian era Inn, the accommodation is 6 first floor rooms, with adjoining private bathrooms, television, tea and coffee and comfortable beds.

At the front of the hotel is a working pub with a comfortable modern dining area, and a warm and welcoming conservatory, with additional outdoor seating. The elevated position of the hotel gives for pleasant views to the rear overlooking the forested valley of the River Don. While the decoration upstairs is simple and functional, the complete experience is pleasant and authentic.

The hotel is located in the North West of Sheffield on a route which offers trams and buses to and from the city centre in minutes. Tram fans - take a seat at the front for a cinematic view of the journey into town.

If you are going to Sheffield and you want traditional surroundings, genuine hospitality, and the opportunity to sample a quality curated offering of local brews and guest craft ales, owner and brewer Alison Newbold, and her team of friendly staff are on hand to make your stay informed and memorable.

Room Tip: Has rooms with lovely views overlooking the forest valley of the River Don

Clean, friendly, pub hotel, with excellent food and beer. The owners and staff are passionate about customer service and it makes any short stay enjoyable. The only downside is the absence of nearby places of interest, so expect a tram ride there and back to do anything. The owners are candid about the need for refurbishment, but the price reflects this and is good value.

Room Tip: Ask for rear facing (slightly less noise)
