Between the bridge and Laura Place, this small simply decorated restaurant was a gem. Having no reservation we were fortunate that the lovely front of house staff found space for us albeit that we needed to be finished by 8 pm. So we had just two delicious courses - lamb rump with sweetbreads for me and sea bream for my husband both delicious and attractively served. A good choice of wines. I would recommend booking as several people were sadly turned away as the restaurant was full.

I came here with my mum on a Saturday evening for a fixed price meal. We booked ahead and it was a good thing we did because it was a hive of activity with great atmosphere. It is a lovely little independent restaurant and the food was extremely good and very good value for money. The service was friendly and there was no sense of being rushed out, we could have sat there all evening!

Attractive ambiance in excellent location. Service friendly and attentive without being pushy, you are allowed both time and space to enjoy your meal. Very good food, most acceptable portion sizes and adequate wine list. A minor quibble at my previous visit was that the cheese had only just been removed from the fridge before being served, but this proved not to be the case on our most recent, and third, visit. The proprietors might well give thought to varying the fixed price menu

Small, friendly, great food. Highly recommend. The waitress was lovely and the chef able to accommodate a sulphite allergy. Delicious dishes beautifully presented, but the restaurant is not pretentious.
