We went for a Friday night curry on our trip to Bath. Food was very good, only one lamb dish was a bit over cooked, delicious flavours but a little tough. Chicken tikka and lamb shish to start were amazing. Not too busy and staff were friendly. The lights were a bit OTT with various colours phasing in and out but that seems to be a theme in quite a few Indian restaurants, just because you can doesn't mean you should . Anyway you go for the food and that was highly recommended.

This is the only time we were not happy with a restaurant's service during our 2 week trip. It was a busy Friday night and the restaurant could have turned us away or warned us it would be a long wait. But they didn't. We ordered more than enough dishes since we wanted to try different things. After we gave the order, the waiter pushed for several more dishes. It would have not been that bad an experience at this point. However, it took an hour for us to get our food. After a long waiting, the waiter came to ask us if we want some poppadum, we thought it was free (like Italian restaurants' breads) to kill time, so said yes. Waiter brought 6 (2 adults 1 child) and 4 tiny condiments. It later turned out we were charged on each piece and each little condiments we barely touched. When the food finally came, we realized we should not have let the waiter pushed us to order the extra things, we could hardly finish 1/3 of the food. And they were expensive.

Lovely restaurant. We didn't manage to get one of the tables overlooking the river so try and get one of these when booking. Food was good with some interesting choices beyond the usual staples and good sized portions. We were very well looked after by the staff, especially Felix.

Hidden away in a basement on Argyle street is this lovely restaurant that we found on Friday night. Good service, great food, what more do you want? The decor is pretty good, you're sitting under trees. Yep, would definitely recommend.

We tried this restaurant a few months ago and apart from the view we didn't think it was anything special however thought we would try again and wow! The food was so much better, far more tasty and authentic, in fact it leaves several other Indian restaurants in Bath way behind! Service was great & friendly staff. Highly recommended and will definitely be back!
