Quaint hotel in a prime location with easy parking facilities. The service and friendliness of the staff was fabulous. The rooms were well presented and a very comfortable bed.The stairs were not for the faint hearted but did not spoil our stay ! Perhaps the breakfast could be improved but was adequate.

Stayed here with friends, 2 large single beds and a bed settee in a lovely large basement room with 2 big windows, plenty of room for all of us. All the staff were courteous and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Great location very close to the centre just by Pulteney Bridge.

Nice hotel, clean, good room and good location. Only let down is the breakfast thats included. States continental breakfast but is basically a slice of toast and a really stodgy croissant. Some cereal and yoghurt also available but just not what i would call a proper continental brekky.

Staff very friendly

We stayed the weekend of 12th and 13th of may 2018.
The hotel did not wow us to be honest.
For the price we paid (and the hotel advertising as 5*) we were a little disappointed.
The location is fantastic which is what I think you’re paying for but the hotel needed a bit of an update.
We paid for a deluxe double room (to celebrate mine and my partners engagement) And when we arrived the very welcoming and nice receptionist showed us to our room in the basement- the Sydney room, we had rose petals scattered in our room which we had to pay for on top of the parking we also had to pay for. Located underneath the front door to the whole hotel so we could hear all the footsteps and doors slamming above.
Overall, not impressed with the hotel but was a comfortable enough stay. Just felt a bit ripped off...

Location can't be beat, walking distance to everything. Very lovely accommodation. If there is a problem with stairs, this might not be for you. Parking is a aila le for a small fee and can be very close to the hotel.
