Have stayed here several times now. Staff very friendly and helpful. Site is well maintained. Very clean facilities despite one toilet block a bit old. Park and Ride within 5 minutes walk, so no need to try and park in Bath. Right next to the cycle path leading to many Sustrans cycle routes. Two excellent pub/restaurants within walking distance. Playpark for children and large dog-walking area. Highly recommended.

We've just spent a couple of cold wet winter days at Bath Marina in our Bongo van. The facilities are clean and very warm; the reception team were friendly and helpful; the pitch was supported bye EHU and tv hook up and all worked perfectly.
The site is a couple of miles from Bath City Centre but linked to the centre with an excellent and very frequent bus service that ran until the early hours of the morning. With a saver ticket it was possible to pop into the town as you needed and return to this most peaceful setting to recuperate. We will certainly return - thank you.

First time we have booked in here with motorhome. In January so rates cheaper, but well worth going again in summer As surroundings nice and it’s peaceful. Booking was easy over phone and payment taken when you arrive.

Christmas 2017 1 night stop. Oh dear, 1 night means that they can change the pitch at will even if you book months in advance.

The fee you pay for poor access to a pitch seems to not go towards the daily care of the whole site in any way. The facilities are run down with grass cutting undertaken maybe 2 twice a year, so don't take short cuts if you are walking on site the ground is very uneven.
Security - nah, ask it they have found the Landrover that was nicked from the site and be aware that the inward barrier has been broken for a long long time the outward just works without any security check.
Strange that the night time security is a chap that resides on site and is supposed to check you are who you are. However he maintains his little plot very well with the lawn mover out when the sun pokes between the clouds.
WIFI works of sorts but I feel that it is for the boaters and not the campers.

Flower beds = no weed beds really, just shows the care and attention to details are just not thought about. The marina however is very spick and span!

Wash areas = One new portacabin, it was the cheapest option that they could find. The other unit details the security aspects of the site with felt tip pen scrawled across doors and rubbish bins when a laminated sign would have looked far far better - oh that costs money and effort.

Early in the year of 2017 member from the office was spotted wandering around the site using a hi-lighter to mark off on her sheet who was at what pitch It seemed that they had no idea who or what was on site.

The one good aspect is that Lidl is but a shortish walk along a path for fresh bread etc and the park and ride is spot on.

Its a real shame that the lease for the site is not due to be on the market soon - me thinks the parent company needs a darn good kicking to wake up to the site and divert some of the money that goes towards administration and the investment in the canal network for at least 5 years and things might improve a bit.

I will stay at this site again and again because it ticks the boxes for the city. But, the running of the site should be placed in the hands of staff that care and get out of the offices and do things to improve the whole sad site,

This is the 3rd visit to this site and it never disappoints. You receive a lovely warm welcome at reception and the site is great. Showers and toilets are always kept very clean and the site is maintained and always tide.A 40 minutes walk will take you into Bath, or you can catch the park and ride. Near by is a bus stop to take you into Bristol. If you want you can hire bikes. It's a lovely place to stay to enjoy Bath and Bristol.
