We wanted to stop over in Bath on a trip to Dorset and as it was only for 1 night we wanted something close to the center so we could go into town on the afternoon to see the attractions and also go back into the town on the evening for a meal. An easy 10-15 minute flat walk from the hotel into town center.
We initially chose the Hotel based on the location and the reviews by other visitors. We were not disappointed, we had a very warm welcome and the room was great and looked out over the garden. The room was individually decorated and was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was lovely and served by cheerful staff.
We will visit Bath again and will certainly stop here again.

It was a cosy stay for my husband and l since we only had a night in Bath! The Bamboo room in this Victoria house was very clean and it looked over the garden on the top floors too, plus it also had a new bathroom finishes touch to it.
The breakfast was nice too to get you started for the day!

Large rooms thoughtfully decorated. There is a lounge/bar area with fireplace downstairs. You can have drinks there or take them to your room. It is located on a busy street, but outside the city center and reasonably quiet and tranquil. It is a pleasant 10 minute walk to the city center across the river (unless it is cold or raining). Ask for a room at the rear which will provide a great view of the garden and Bath beyond. Free parking is provided. The car park is a bit tight but adequate. Cooked to order breakfast included in the room rate and is available each morning and quite delicious. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: Rooms on the rear offer a view of the garden and Bath beyond.

We stayed here for a couple of days, just after Christmas. The weather was bitterly cold, but the hotel was warm and welcoming. Our Premier King room was just perfect, both the room and bathroom were a good size and very nicely furnished and equipped. The bed was very comfortable, with good linens. The staff were friendly, efficient and accommodating to our request for early check-in. There was a lovely fire in the lounge, where we were able to enjoy an evening drink. The breakfast was excellent. As mentioned by others, the location is an easy walk into the Centre of Bath, and the ability to park at the hotel was a real bonus. I can’t wait for an opportunity to go back!

Room Tip: Rooms are individually named and described on the website.
