It is located near the citycentre you can easily go walking, rooms are confortable and I liked that the beds had their own courtain. Breakfast is ok, but unfortunately there is no kitchen just a microwave. You have to pay 1 pound to leave your bags after checkout.

The YMCA in Bath offers self- laundry service, free continental breakfast, high security, decent sized rooms, towels for £1 and free wifi. Unfortunately they're currently updating the wifi so it's mostly unavailable in rooms and there was only one PowerPoint in our room between the four of us. The location is great, only a 5 minute walk to the city centre and main attractions. The staff are really friendly and helpful, they offer luggage storage when you check out for £1. If you have any special dietary requirements they are quite happy to accommodate your needs. We enjoyed our stay here.

The Bath YMCA is very clean, well located and has a very considerate staff. As a single mom traveling with teens, this was a great accommodation for us. Like all hostels one needs ear plugs as the nights can be quite noisy.

Probably the cheapest place to stay in central Bath. The breakfast more than adequate, with real coffee machines made at the press of a button. The rooms were adequate with crisp bed linen. Any complaints are probably the fact that some guests feel it okay to create large stains on the carpets, leave bathrooms in a mess (maybe they thought their parents would come in after them and clean up) and use the corridors as a place to plug in hairdryers and mobiles due to lack of plugs in bedrooms. The showers are okay though there was only one hook to hang up dry clothes and nothing to wipe down the wet floor with afterwards. There was no toilet paper during part of the day.Towels are not provided so bring your own or pay £1 to borrow one. Wi fi and desk top computers did not work whilst we were there.

We stayed in a private twin and it was perfect for our trip, really central and reasonable price. The room was a decent size and shared bathrooms were very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the kitchen area was huge but only use if a microwave. Our room had an amazing view of the abbey but there is no lift.
