We were staying in a little cabin outside Bath and fancied an Indian. This one came recommended, and so we popped in. The service was great throughout the visit, and the food was very tasty. We had Tikka Masala (juicy and very flavoursome) and Onion Bhajis (perfectly crispy) for starters, and Chicken Rogan and Murgh Srilanka for mains. The staff told us that they didn't provide alcohol, but were happy for us to go next door if we wanted beer with our meal.
Overall, a lovely meal out, and I'd definitely recommend them.

We were staying at the Bath Mill Lodge Retreat and decided to have an Indian takeaway. Rather than get in the car we opted to use the just eat app for the first time ever! We were a but apprehensive to use it but we had a look through and after some checking of reviews we opted for The New Curry Garden.

We ordered before the opening time (you can use a pre-order option) and we had a confirmation email saying delivery would be at 17.45. We then had an update by clicking on the email saying it would be delivered at 18.05 and this was the time it arrived - we had to go to reception to collect this as the accommodation had barriers to it.

The garlic chilli chicken and murgh jalfreeza were absolutely delicious (a tiny bit oily but added to taste) and the naan breads were done to perfection! We have a fantastic takeaway where we live and can never find one to rival it when we go away but this was very close.

I'd highly recommend this Indian takeaway to anyone staying in the area.

Dropped in as was in the area. We were the only customers but they were busy with take always and deliveries. As a result the waiter was not there, when we arrived so the chef came out to serve us. We ordered some drinks and poppadoms from him and the waiter came back after about 15 mins. The beers were cold and the poppadoms were good.

When the waiter got back we ordered the starters and main courses. The starters were great, but two of the mains tasted like they had the same sauce, except one was prawn and the other was lamb, however they did taste nice and the portion size was good.

The waiter keep disappearing to make deliveries and when he present was rushing around taking phone deliveries and dealing with takeaway customers. We quite liked the fact that we could sit and take our time and had a long relaxing meal. Some places rush you. If you want attentive staff and service then this is not the place for you. If we needed something and the waiter was not around we let the kitchen know and they looked after us, I have no problem with that as we could see they were busy with takeaway and phone orders. When things calmed down on the delivery front the waiter had a bit of a chat with us. Nice guy.

It was not the best food I have ever had but it was nice enough. I really enjoyed the evening as we had time to sit and chat and eat at our leisure.

Unexpectedly excellent: we have tried a number of Indian restaurants after moving to Bath from London a year ago and this is genuinely the best. Excellent flavours and fine spicing that is different in each dish. Can't recommend highly enough.
