We had a lovely stay at the Hollies the weekend we had lots of snow. The house was warm, and cosy. The bed was cosy and also very warm. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and made is feel at home. The breakfast was tasty and large portions cooked perfectly.

Myself and three girlfriends thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hollies. Our charming hosts, David and Jo couldn't have been more accommodating and their years in Hotel hospitality were clearly evident as they appeared to have thought of every detail to make our stay comfortable. From fresh milk in a flask to accompany our tea and coffee with delicious biscuits to complimentary toiletries and the provision of a hairdryer in order to "keep up appearances". The beds and pillows were beautifully made up and very comfortable. Breakfast was a feast! Cereals, yoghurt, full English (with Jo's perfect poached egg on request) toast and delicious home made jams available to buy (Damson was my favourite!). The house itself is as charming as it's hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed taking in all the beautiful antiques and collectibles on display, particularly the stunning dolls house! Bath central is a 15 minute stroll downhill and after an exhausting day capturing this delightful city we shared a cab to take us back up the hill to The Hollies. Thank you David and Jo for an unforgettable stay! We will be back! p.s. Jo I have yet to try out your top tip to create coddled eggs!.

Within easy reach of the attractions and sites in Bath, the Hollies offers accommodartion in a quiet area away from the bustling city centre, in individually themed rooms designed to have a homely feel which is enhanced by the careful attentions of the resident hosts. Access by train, bus and car is excellent and the nearby park leads directly to the famous Two Tunnels Greenway multi-use path, which continues into superb and unspoilt countryside. Breakfast is excellent and becomes something of a social occasion where guests and hosts share experiences in a way that makes the planning of a day's activities so much more interesting.

Stayed for 2 nights with a friend as we were seeing a band at Komedia. Had a lovely welcome from Joe & David & were shown to the Indian Room (twin), good size room, shower room & refreshments provided. Loved the library..so many books. Beds were very comfortable. Had lovely breakfast in the morning with good choice of cereal, yogurts, fruit & toast, followed by cooked breakfast. Convenient for the number 3 bus which goes into town. Would recommend.

Very nice B&B. Owners were very welcoming and accommodating. Room was really nice although the bed was too soft. The shower was good but very noisy! Lovely breakfast but if vegetarian make sure you tell them the day before as they need time to organise it.
