We both visited here for an early evening dinner as part of our honeymoon in Bath. The restaurant is small but cosy and the waiting staff were friendly and helpful however most importantly the food is absolutely delicious! We each had a starter, prawn cocktail and a salmon starter both divine! Then the mains came out, one of us had chicken in madeira sauce and one had the duck both served with the famous Sally Lunn Bunn......DELICIOUS! We were both impressed and would definitely be back for more when we visit Bath again.

Thank Lulu-Jelly J

Booked a table which is a very good idea - tip from a fellow traveller.
I sat under a dripping (fan?) and asked to move - no stress, chose a table nearby and sat there, all OK.
Table taken out of service - good move.
Busy team go about their business with no stress, all very friendly and efficient.
Food absolutely gorgeous and yes, the buns ARE all they're cracked up to be! :D

We went for morning tea and had the scones and tea. Service was good but the food was just average. The facility doesn't fit very many people even with the up and down stairs dining. Overall a bit stuffy and there are better options in Bath.

What a lovely lunch must try the bun could not decided what topping to have wanted to try a few flavours. The museum was interesting and sold the buns as well so managed to take some home. The only downside was the tables are very close together in the tea shop so you find that people will be knocking in to you while you are eating
