Visited with a friend for an unplanned meal out. Lovely cider and a great meal, good vegetarian choices, comes fairly quickly and excellent service from the staff. Thank you.

Thank lidijay

Never again. Staff are rude, as is the barman. Food lower than average and overpriced. As soon as a table left they complained about how dirty the customers were and brought the hoover out while we were still sitting at our table. A venue to be avoided in Glastonbury at all costs

9 of my family and friends were dining there and my father has been going for 55 years as a local man even though he agrees it's gotten terrible.

We saw the boss, Bill, shouting violently and drunkenly at his staff. he fired one poor lovely waitress who had made an honest mistake and I've never been so disgusted by such raucous, threatening behaviour by a landlord.

he should hang his head in shame, only trying to make money from tourists, he shuns the locals and barely ever leaves the pub.

the food is average-good but massively obvious that they are cashing in on passing trade and show no interest in their fellow neighbours. horrendous wine and drink prices too.

do not support this unethical establishment.

We shall not return unless forced to!

This pub has a good outdoor space and some lovely indoor rooms. We arrived fairly early in the lunch time slot and I ordered the "Special of the Day" which was the rack of ribs. I was surprised that I had got the last portion, and later realised that it was not cooked special for the day, but were the leftovers that needed to be shifted quickly. The portion was massive, but with little flavor and not particular well cooked. My husband's lasagna was OK, but nothing special. The prices were reasonable and the staff were attentive and friendly.

Myself and three friends stayed here for a weekend. Both bedrooms were very clean tidy with lovely clean. Breakfast and dinner had good choices and were very enjoyable. Staff were very helpful and pleasant.
