Stayed in Aldeburgh for the Easter weekend with our adult children and "grandog"(Greyhound) had three evenings in the Cross Keys - very welcoming and dog friendly pub with a local atmosphere and excellent choice of way better than average pub food.
Highly recommended.

Soggy sausages, Uncooked mussels. Frozen oven chips. Sticky tables. Do not go to this pub. The staff was apologetic however it did not help.

Best place for a cheap lunch... Really good food and Ghost ship. Nice prices and good food. Perfect and not pretentious at all...

I wanted to spend a couple of hours reading the Sunday paper and chose this lovely pub

Great log fire, good beer and wine.
Very friendly staff and customers

Has a really good skate and salad nicoise
Very fresh fish

The pub is also dog friendly and when I enquiries they welcomed me returning with my large dog

If you are looking for a proper pub with a great atmosphere I thoroughly recommend it

This is a fairly normal pub, that happens to have a food menu. The beer was a little limited, but just enough. The atmosphere, well it's a local pub, and a cold night, and we sat near the fire.
The food. Well we had a selection of starters between us.
And here are the issues. The quite large sardines hadn't been gutted, and at that size, they probably should have been.
The kings prawns were simply over salted...unpleasantly so. The fish cake and the whitebait were fine.
So overall, just an average place.
