This is a super house - excellent location overlooking the beach and a short walk into the centre of Aldeburgh. The views from the first floor lounge and master bedroom on the second floor are wonderful. We have had many lovely walks along the beach up to Thorpeness - and have found plenty to do! The accommodation is well equipped and very comfortable. Our 3 generation family love this house - we have been 4 years on the trot and are looking forward to our 5th stay in 2018!
We stayed here last week and have to say it is an amazing property (and one you won't regret booking!). The furnishings are luxurious, including the bedding etc, a first floor lounge, that is a great place to chill and watch the fishing boats coming and going, with two excellent bathrooms. All the rooms feel spacial with typically high ceilings and would easily cope with two families. Straight out the front door and your on the beach next to the fresh fish huts. It's short stroll into the high street or across to the scallop sculpture. You're also a short ride from Snape Maltings, RSPB Minsmere, Dunwich Heath and Southwold. A wonderful seaside retreat!
After booking this property last year rebooked for this year as we loved it so much.
Beautiful house, very tasteful, comfortable, fab location. Would certainly recommend for a group of friends or a family. Recommend to buy fresh fish from the sheds opposite. Chinese takeaway reasonably priced and ok. Cragg sisters tea shop excellent food, recommend the cheese scones.
High tide festival on during our visit and thoroughly enjoyed Sheila Hancock in conversation one of the many shows on.
