Village Hotel Newcastle

Stayed here whilst dropping our son back to uni. Chose this hotel for the price - cheaper than the city centre places we usually stay in. It was a lovely surprise! Very friendly with a good service. The pool and spa are excellent. We ate at the restaurant and the food was lovely. Will definitely stay again when we pick up in June.

We love staying here, the staff are typical geordies they are very friendly and helpful, check in and check out is quick, the club rooms are a good size and the beds are really comfortable, love the pool which is always clean as are the changing rooms, the bar gets full very quickly so get in early to avoid disappointment, the vegetarian choices on the menu aren't very good if I'm honest a few more would make the visit perfect, there's plenty of free parking outside which is great , can't wait to come back.

We booked 3 days/2nights to celebrate our anniversary, and was far the worst hotel we've been. On the check in I was informed the breakfast was included, next morning when we gave the room number the staff member told us we didn't have breakfast included, and he didn't gave us any options.
In a room it was just 1 towel, I spoke with the cleaning lady and told her our booking was 2 adults so we would need another towel, the answer: "help yourself out from the trolley". Next day again 1 towel and cleaning products leftover on the room.
For all fancy marketing on the website the money is not worthy.
Very disappointed and definitely not coming back.

Stayed overnight before going on cruise. On arrival staff were friendly and very helpful. Had a good night sleep in comfortable bed. Would definitely recommend this hotel. The leisure facilities looked really good but as we were only staying overnight before cruise we didn't use them.

Stayed at the Village hotel whilst visiting Newcastle uni, good location very nice staff, rooms clean and smart, only gripe was the shower pressure not very good and could do with extra pillows, overall though great hotel.
