Booked through countryhotels.com and had very good package. Felt it was value for money for quality of stay. Our superior room was beautiful, on top floor and overlooking gardens and fountain, very quiet. Our only issue was that there were delays for both breakfast and dinner in serving food and when received was only lukewarm for some of it. The hotel did seem very busy though I guess as they have just re-opened. Quality of food very good.

What a lovely place to spend our first trip away after lockdown. The grounds are beautiful, the room was a high standard and the meal in the restaurant was excellent. It was its first week open in months so I was anticipating a few teething problems but four of us had three courses each, ordering a wide variety of dishes and, without exception, we loved them all. Congratulations to the staff.

Beautiful location and excellent staff.

Room layout was extremely similar to a Travelodge. Inter-joining door had no sound insulation so you heard EVERYTHING from the neighbouring room.

View from the room was of a flat roof with AC ducting running everywhere.

In my opinion the room was nowhere near the £135 a night price.

Lovely hotel and grounds. Stayed here to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday in a beautiful garden view room with excellent en suite facilities. Dinner and breakfast were lovely. Afternoon tea a bit disappointing.
Would definitely visit again and recommend to friends.

Overnight trip to meet some friends. Overall stay fabulous - lovely rooms and super comfortable beds. Food was amazing although big issues with breakfast (due to staffing issue I think). Disappointed with big “service charge” added to bill. Majority of staff v friendly and professional.
