We were made very welcome and had all the local points of interest made known to us. The B&B is in a convenient location and with car parking provided it made walking to most places easy. The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was served with a flair of humour attend by our host.

Room Tip: Any room will do.

On an annual walking trip with 2 friends, this year’s 100 miles were in the Midlands. On the third night we stayed at The Salamander Guest House. The manager was on holiday so we were greeted by Vivienne, who was super. She had a laugh with us and was very helpful. We had 2 rooms which were small, a little dated, but adequate for our needs.
Breakfast was good and Vivienne served early, which let us get a good start for the day’s walking.

Just arrived home after a lovely 2 night stay here. We stayed in the family suit; ground floor with our own parking space. Lovely, clean and spacious room with everything we could possibly need. Very close to the town centre and all the attractions. Breakfast was really nice and included juice, hot drinks, cereals, toast and a full english! One thing that made our visit extra special was the friendliness of Vivian who was running the guest house whilst the owners were away. She was so friendly, chatty & went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect for us. If we visit Stratford again we would 100% stay here!

Convenient location. Quiet street with a nice park across the street. Dated rooms and the bathroom had a bit of a musty old/damp odor.

Breakfast can get a bit crowded and chaotic if the place is full. Overall good value for a short stay.

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Salamander. Pascal was very friendly and welcoming. He gave us excellent tips on what to do in and around the town. Parking was provided which was very handy in a small town like Stratford. It is also within 3 minutes walking distance of the town centre. All in all, we had a great time!
