Owner description: Imagine a totally electrifying day out at Britain’s ultimate castle. Where you can immerse yourself in a thousand years of jaw-dropping history – come rain or shine.Where ancient myths and spell-binding tales set your imagination alight, and your hair on end. Where princesses are pampered and maidens are wooed, as winners become true heroes and losers are confined to dark, dank dungeons to be forgotten for eternity. It could only be Warwick Castle.

Visited with my husband who uses a wheelchair so just as well not interested in the dungeons. Stairs up to the castle rooms from the outside, no ramp, helpful guide although they were hard to find, would have liked a guide in each room to answer questions. Managed to view the ground floor rooms ok but no chance of the upstairs as no lift available, which we weren't made aware of, maybe a reduced price in ticket charges? On site café run by Costa. If had children it would have been an expensive day out. Limited blue badge parking.

As you may be aware, the Castle is a Grade 1 Listed Building and Scheduled Ancient Monument, so as such we are restricted in the changes we are able to make to the building and grounds. We are aware of the impact this can have on guests, and we are continually reviewing accessibility at the Castle in order to improve this. In order to assist guests who may require assistance we have an Accessibility Guide which is available both upon arrival at the Castle from the Ticket Office, and also on the Warwick Castle website so guests can consult this guide prior to visiting.

Have visited Warwick a number of times over the years and it never disappoints.

New area for me were the pump house and the trebuchet. Both features a must.

Not an easily place to get around if you struggle with walking. Lots of steps up and down and some of them uneven. But if you can manage them it’s well worth it. Lovely views over Warwick and other parts of the castle. It’s so beautiful.

It amazes me that it can be kept in such great shape. Job well done to all involved!

great fun: positives - the maze, birds of prey, castle internals, time tower.

Negatives - avoid the cafe/s at all costs; they are a rip off. advertised as Costa coffee - not at all anything like Costa coffee, staff are slow. Coffee is awful, nothing like proper costa coffee and food very expensive. Take your own food and you wont be disappointed!!! otherwise brilliant visit.

My partner and I recently visited Warwick castle and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It was very good value for money and the dungeon experience was much much better than expected. You really need a whole day there to see everything as there is so much to see, I would thoroughly recommend anyone to go and visit this fantastic castle.
