Stayed at the Hyatt in January for event at the ICC. Bridge link to ICC means that you don't have to go outside! Marvellous.

The room was clean and comfortable with large bed and lovely bathroom toiletries, bath robe and slippers. View from the window (floor to ceiling) was amazing. Would definitely recommend.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking ICC and the square below have a better view. Broad Street can be very noisy but our room was high up so no noise noticed.

We stayed at the Hyatt during the Spring Birmingham Fair. The hotel staff was great, especially the team on the executive level. They went out of their way to prepare us for our early exit from the hotel to the show each day, and were great for our return in the evening. Just very nice on a personal level.

Also very convenient to Broad street where we enjoyed the many restaurants and pubs.

Thank you Hyatt!

We have stayed in this hotel several times but only for 1 or 2 nights. We have never been disappointed. The rooms are large and airy and well equiped for tea and coffee making . The bathrooms only seem to have a shower within the bath but is supplied with lots of small bottles of toiletries.

We always have dinner in the restaurant on 1 of the evenings and again we have never been disappointed. The food has always been good and imaginative and the service cannot be faulted.

This is not a cheap hotel, the breakfast is not included in the price of the room and you have to pay £14 a night to park the car, however it is very central and we will continue to stay here whenever we visit Birmingham

Stayed here whilst my husband was in Birmingham on business.
Room was large and clean, decor was quite neutural and showed no obvious signs of wear and tear.
There were the usual tea & coffee making facilities and sachets of herbal teas or hot chocolate could be requested by calling house keeping. I did this and they were delivered within minutes.
The usual over priced mini bar is provided however with the central location everything you could possibly need is witihin easy reach of the hotel.
The bathroom was nice, small bath with shower over, fixed head shower which meant if you're over 5ft 6in (as we both are) you have to stoop to get under it. Lovely thick clean white towells though.
Nice that the in room temperature and lighting were controlled with multiple options, not just on or off as in some hotels. And the air con/ heating was silent.
The bed was huge and was very comfortable with extra pillows supplied if needed.

The only meal we ate in the hotel was breakfast, this was served in the bright and airy glass atrium restaurant. A good choice of cereals, seeds, berries, yoghurts, compotes, smoked salmon, cold meats, cheeses and then the usual choice of cooked breakfast items. This was all self service. I have to say the 'Continental' style items were displayed really nicely and tasted fresh, the yoghurt and compote especially. The cooked breakfast was a little dried out, the bacon looked awful, a weird brown colour and the oddest texture. We were sat by the hot dishes and everyone we saw opened up the bacon dish and closed it again without taking any!
There was also a menu from which one could order items such as Haddock and Kippers, poached eggs and Omelettes.
Staff were polite and perhaps a little to keen to be efficient, almost fighting to get to you at the front desk. One member of staff trying to check you in or out is sufficient, 2 or 3 is overkill and confuses things.
If we had cause to be in Birmingham again we would consider staying here again

Room Tip: High floor gets better view
