Many of my friends and family have been to Bodega and really enjoyed it but until yesterday I hadn't. I wish I hadn't waited so long. It has a reputation of being difficult to get in without a booking but our party (3 of us) chanced our arm and thanks to a no show and a very helpful maitre d we managed to secure a table with only a 10 minute wait. I suspect we were lucky.
In short, the food was well presented and tasted very good (as you'd hope!), the service was excellent, and the bill was what you'd expect in this part of town/this type of restaurant. We shared two starters which was fine. I felt that the size of two of main course meals was a tad disappointing - too small. The third was fine (generous in fact).
So, we'd go again and I'd recommend it.
