We chose to stay at this property for a concert we were attending in Birmingham. It has a good location, just off the main street and close to shops, restaurants and public transport.
The check in staff are very lovely and bubbly and were more than happy to store our luggage for us whilst we explored the city - couldn't fault them, very lovely ladies! 2 car parks nearby to use as well - special weekend rates apply which was a nice surprise (£5 per 24 hours)
A few downsides - across the from the hotel is a small park where a few groups like to hang around drinking (at all hours - including 9am in the morning) and generally looking shady. This made me slightly anxious but they kept to themselves.
We were allocated a room facing the street and even with the window closed, you could still hear the many buses that pull up along that street and rest there at the bus stop - it was very noisy.
We did not get breakfast or use the wifi. Overall, a pretty average stay. Would probably stay again if travelling to Birmingham.More
