Tour was very informative, gave good insight on how people lived through the ages.
Tour guides were brilliant and information was excellent.
Glad national trust saved the buildings.

4 of us. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour, very informative, funny, thought provoking.
Brought back lots of memories of Mum and Nan's houses, and a not too distant completely different way of living. Not a 'conventional' National Trust visit. Much more fun, engaging, and real. No stuffy curtains, oil paintings or sculptures here. Real Birmingham life as it used to be going back 100 years +, all shown and narrated by the gem of a volunteer guide that is Joyce. She only guides once a week, so would recommend calling before booking if you have flexibility about your visit and book on with Joyce. She is funny, knowledgeable, slightly irreverent ( in a good way) grew up nearby, friendly, engaging, charming, and we learned so much more than we probably would have about life through the years locally if she had not made us all feel like we had known her for years. Who knows, this may be a tad unfair, there may be other diamonds within the group of guides at the B2Bs. I do hope so, what a winning formula What ALL guides should be like. There were 3 children in the group too and she had them enthralled too. Go!!

Interest held throughout the 1.5 hour guided tour by Emma . She made us feel aware of the conditions of living and the whole situation of living in the courtyards. She made it relevant and alive.. a most worthwhile visit to any exploration in Birmingham.

Lived in Birmingham my whole life and finally got round to visiting. Amazing experience with knowledgable guides. The sweet shop was also amazing. I was literally like a child in a sweet shop. Can’t wait to go back with the kids.
