We visited this restaurant recently before The Nutcracker performance at 1.00 p.m. We arrived at 11.45 just as the shutters were raised. The food was very good and the chicken and ham pie excellent.
However, although there were less than 20 people in the restaurant, the service was very slow. We had one simple main course each and a very hurried coffee with no time for a dessert, before leaving at 12.50. This restaurant is linked to the theatre and should therefore be aware of performance times. Our experience was spoilt by having to ask twice for service to be speeded up and having to rush our meal.
