Found our visit to Coventry Cathedral quite emotional. On a grey day it's quite beautifully haunting and a time to reflect. Worth a visit

Enjoyed our walk around but really felt £5 each as pensioners was a bit expensive. We wandered around and enjoyed our visit but it still only lasted about 30 minutes

We are glad that you found the new cathedral interesting. We, unfortunately, need to charge to visit the new building but believe that we do offer a good and lasting experience. The cathedral naturally is free to enter when attending a service or wish to pray. The upkeep of this place is the prime reason why we need to charge. This is the same for many other organisations like the National Trust.

The ruins of the cathedral are a fitting way to remember how much Coventry suffered during the Blitz. The architecture of the rebuilt Cathedral superbly links with the ruins

I simply love to visit this bombed out cathedral because it reminds me of what the British people had to endure during WWII. It is beautiful in its skeletal reminder of that time. I am so thankful that it was left as is to serve as a lesson in history.
