We came here for my father in law's birthday for a Sunday meal. We initially booked for a nearby restaurant which closed too early on Sundays so looked for an other restaurant in the area we wanted and found this place. There wasn't really any rating on trip advisor so was a bit concerned but was really nicely surprised. It is a traditional pub with lovely cider and biter on tap. The staff is very friendly (even offered a pint to my father in law as it was his birthday) and the food was plentiful and nice. All for a very reasonable price. I completely recommend it if you are looking for a confortable and enjoyable Sunday roast with friends or family.
