The owner makes this property a feast for the eye from the minute you step through the entrance. Although totally approachable and there to help, the pleasant and friendly owner gives a totally secluded and private visit to her property. Many personal touches and attention to detail make you feel special and the cottage itself a delight. The cottage is perfectly situated to the village and castle. Arundel is a fabulous village to relax and unwind. Delightful places to eat and drink, from coffee and a cake to an evening meal. This beautiful village begs you to stroll around admiring the amazing buildings and enjoying the atmosphere.

“Six stars if I could!”
Reviewed 16 October 2013 for a stay in October 2013

I have stayed in many self catering cottages, but this one was by far the best in terms of facilities.. The location is ideal for exploring Arundel and further afield; central yet very quiet. We got a warm welcome from Michelle and a further welcome from the wonderful hamper and wine left in the kitchen. The attention to detail in this immaculate converted stable is second to none. The bed is extremely comfortable, the bathroom beautifully warm, the log burner a delight. Michelle makes sure her guests needs are catered for from an umbrella to a push bike, from a picnic set to complimentary bacon and eggs for breakfast. Give yourself a treat and go!

“PERFECT”
Reviewed 20 February 2013 for a stay in September 2012

I took my boyfriend to Benjamin Cottage as a surprise birthday treat and we had the most wonderful time. From the moment we were handed the big old fashioned key, and then walking through the beautiful garden and seeing the little cottage..oh it was so amazing. We had the happiest 2 days there.

Everything you could possibly need was supplied, including picnic baskets and blankets and the lovely hamper...a total a bonus treat! And everywhere was spotless.

The wood burner was amazing and we enjoyed a bottle of wine and a take away in front of that one evening (lots of info on local restaurants/take aways is supplied). We also took the scenic walk to a pub called the black rabbit and enjoyed a drink outside. We asked the owner for advice on where to eat and she was spot on with her suggestions. I can't remember what it was called but it was on the main street at the bottom and we ate upstairs, it was Italian and totally delicious.

I honestly can't think of anything that could have been done to improve Benjamin Cottage. Everything was beautiful and it has been so lovingly restored. We spent a lot of time wishing we never had to leave!!

We will return before too long, it was honestly wonderful and nowhere we have stayed since has come close.

Thank you so so much x
