We stayed in the Cart Shed and it was very stylish luxury accommodation for 4 persons with disabled facilities and plenty of space. The hosts are charming and there were some home-made goodies for us on arrival. The sheets & towels are of good quality and the beds comfortable. The underfloor heating is lovely and the wood burning stove kept us very warm in such a large space. It is not a criticism but if renting the Cart Shed on its own, the lounge area of the attached rental is upstairs and is over both bedrooms and the kitchen and there is some noise transfer. This is not made clear on the web-site and may put some people off. Please enquire when booking would be my advice. Location is excellent for visiting lots of places.

This was a short break with a friend and my border collie. The cottage itself is first class and very spacious, with an enclosed and fairly private garden with good quality garden furniture and great views. We were particularly pleased to have quality mattresses on the beds (so often not the case in holiday rental properties). It's also great that both bedrooms are en-suite - again quite unusual. The location is off the beaten track and we were able to do several really beautiful very long walks from the front door across the rolling valleys beyond to remote village villages. Jenny and her (extended) family were extremely friendly and helpful without being obtrusive. I am looking forward to coming back with my husband later in the year.

We were lucky enough to stay at this fabulous property for nearly 7 weeks while we were between houses. The cart shed had everything we could wish for as a temporary home. We also added a few of our personal affects such as photos & rugs & our lovely Goldie so it really felt like a home from home. We really didn't want to leave. We stayed there from November until after Christmas & also took over the Stables with our children & grandchilden for a wonderful family Christmas get together. I could also have my disabled parents to stay as the disabled facilities in this unit are excellent. Thus the properties are suitable from new borns to 85 year olds & beyond!! The walks are tremendous & thankfully the pubs not too far, the Hare & Hounds a short walk 15mins, the Barley Mow about 35 mins & the pubs at Funtington & Compton about 1 hour 30 mins. Also its not too far from one of our favourite beaches on the Witterings. Shopping in Chichester is only about a 15 minute drive. We found Jenny & Philip & their lovely family very friendly and they did everything & beyond to make our stay comfortable. Even though there were builders working on their sons cottage next door we hardly heard anything & were not disturbed at all. The views from all the windows are gorgeous. We would definately recommend this property for a relaxing holiday especially for dog walkers & bird & wildlife enthusiasts. Also their eco efficient ethos meant that the conversion was cosy, draft free & perfect even though it was a huge open plan space. We loved it!
