After reading good reviews for Nashs, we decided to order on deliveroo. Quick delivery but to our disappointment the Fish n chips arrived cold. The was Batter so wet and sloppy to the point it fell off the fish. Also, the Box was full of grease. Very unpleasant. Genuinely one of worst Fish n Chips in Leeds. Won't be getting ever again.

I went here for something cheap to eat in Leeds city centre on a Sunday night, not great, the chips were obviously reheated and the cod was so greasy that it was unpleasant. Soulless chippy tbh

What a shame once again a good old fashioned once loved leeds tradition has gone if your heading for this restaurant for the great fish and chips your going to be really disappointed the lovely old world restaurant has gone closed and sold off all that’s left is the takeaway which is no where near as good as it used to be the place was sold to the same people who own chickos at the bottom of the same street unfortunately it doesn’t look like they know much about traditional fish and chips everything has gone halal the batter the beef dripping which is the best thing to cook fish and chips in is even halal which taste terrible the place now looks dirty half the time the takeaway looks unclean to eat in what happened to kitchen whites half of the time no one is wearing any the service is not the greatest either it was once a place to go before the theatre would not bother now the whole place has been ruined and will never be the same time for theatre goers to find some where new oh and if you do visit the takeaway go to a toilet somewhere before because they even took that away such a shame leeds is loosing some real treasures Nash’s was once one not any more.

Went to Nash's yesterday with my mum for our lunchtime fish n chip treat in the beautiful Tudor restaurant upstairs and - WHAT?! - it is no more. We were reduced to sitting in the drab, chilly cafe downstairs and eating fish n chips off polystyrene, and drinking tea out of the same. Fortunately when we asked to swap our plastic cutlery we were given proper knives and forks, shiny and stainless steel (and washable too so they didn't go in the bin with the rest of the polystyrene when we were done!)

The TV was on too ... it'd be nice to dine in peace without yet another screen to look at. And it was too loud.

I realise when a restaurant is struggling but, as with another great Leeds fish n chips institution, Harry Ramsdens, it's trying to trade on the name but basically trashing the once-great experience. The fish n chips were okay but not as nice as they were in the restaurant upstairs.

As long as your expectations are set beforehand it might be okay for some. It's cheap, if not a lot else.
