Very nice place for Sunday roast, we all enjoyed the turkey and the beef and the veggies... Very satisfying.
I have also eaten there a couple of times from a very nice menu with enough choice to want me to go back again. The food always excellent and plentyful, fresh and good quality.
Service was very polite and friendly. Very good service!
The atmosphere is welcoming, calm and they offer good selection of drinks it is a very nice place.

Met up with friends for a catch up. I would certainly advise booking a table, it was rammed even though it was a Tuesday evening. The menu looked at first to be a little fried-food heavy but it was actually very fresh food that was clearly cooked to order. I say that because, as you can see from the other reviews, it takes ages for your food to come out! But honestly the food was very tasty and unlike anything else in Maidenhead. They kindly made a vegetarian poutine for me, and the onion gravy on it is truly worth the wait. The prices are very reasonable, I had a starter, main and pudding plus soft drinks for just over £22 in all.

There is limited parking, and not much space on the road to park. It's super easy to get to. If you're coming from Maidenhead then follow the A4 to Slough but before you go over the river you turn right at the new mini roundabout. It's near the end of the road once you're past the new flats.

We were last here in 2016 and decided to try for a last minute Sunday Roast.

The telephone booking was superb, not only managing to book us in towards the end of service when already busy but taking a pre order to ensure we would have our first choices.

On arriving the pub was clearly popular, very busy, even mid afternoon, and rightly so. The front of house/bar staff were efficient even though clearly rushing to keep up with demand. The atmosphere was relaxed and the pub itself lovely.

We were seated on time but then service slowed and it was a good 40 minutes before our food arrived. When it did it was superb! Huge portions, well cooked and delicious.

It's also worth mentioning that the pub specialised in a vast range of Gin. Definitely worth sampling on a future visit!

We will be back and would recommend. Hopefully the kitchen service will improve, but be prepared for a wait at busy times.
