What at a wonderful surprise, to stumble upon this amazing little egg shop in old part of Worcester. Popped in and found they had two kinds of gluten-free Scotch eggs, chilli and apple/bacon. Bought the latter and wow....what a wonderful treat! Highly recommended!!

Hi J H,

Thank you for a really lovely review. I have passed your feedback on to the team, and we are all delighted you stumbled upon us too! I am glad you enjoyed our gluten free products in particular, as we are looking to grow our GF range in the near-future. I know Malmo to Worcester is a fair distance (!) but if you do find yourself in the city again, be sure to pop in...

Many thanks,
Lin S

Wow - what a choice of eggs. They even have vegetarian options. They may be a little pricey at £3 each but the flavours and choices of ingredients are truly innovative. Well worth sampling some of the eggs. They're soon to go online too and so we'll be able to buy them from the comfort of our own home.

Hi Sue W,

Many thanks for a lovely write-up. I have passed your comments on to the team and we are all pleased you enjoyed your experience. We do our level best to cater for all tastes at Egg'cetera and we are glad you appreciated the breadth of flavours on offer.

The mail order service is now well and truly live, available via our parent company the Handmade Scotch Egg Co., so you can indeed get your scotch egg fix at home... that said, if you find yourself in Worcester again, be sure to pop in!

Warm regards,
Lin S

Seriously you won't eat another 'tesco' etc pork pie , scotch egg , ever again!!! ;)

These are homemade and rolled in the likes of Tyrell's crisps , pure heaven :) definitely worth the offer of £10 for 4. :)

Hi MrsVM,

Many thanks for the write-up - we agree, it's hard to go back to mass-produced ones once you've tried a proper scotch egg! I have passed this on to the team and are all very grateful for your kind words and support.

Have you had the chance to pop in recently? The scotch egg range keeps growing all the time, and all can now be enjoyed in-house as part of our 'Proper Picnicking' menu - well worth a go!

Warm regards,
Lin S

I was idly perusing options in Worcester while waiting for my tribe and saw that Egg'cetera was just up the road. As a sucker for the traditional scotch egg this was somewhere to go and check out.
The shop is akin to a small deli and although the eggs are the main event there are accompaniments inside.
There are a lot of egg options catering for both vegetarian and meat eaters and go from the more traditional to the exotic. Options included spicy varieties along with ingredients including beetroot, cranberries and Wensleydale and black pudding.
We walked away with 6 different varieties and favourites were the Black Watch and Scrumpy. Give it a look.

Hi festeradams,

Thank you so much for the cracking write-up. I have passed your comments on to the crew and we are all delighted your eggs went down well.

Have you had a chance to return since writing your review? The scotch egg range has continued to grow (for our sins - we're awful at retiring them), and can now be enjoyed in-house along with other lovely local produce as part of our 'Proper Picnicking' menu.

If you are in the area, be sure to pop in and we will see if we can find you a new favourite!

Many thanks,
Lin S
