We have eaten here on a number of occasions since the makeover/re-opening in 2016. Started off very well, had a bit of a dip but I'm glad to say it's now back on top form. Excellent and innovative starters - cheese soufflé and cured salmon with Bloody Mary sorbet to die for; main courses of pink lamb pave, roast chicken and roast lamb all cooked to perfection, with delicious smoky cauliflower cheese and sweet potato mash. Make sure to leave room for the divine baked Alaska.
Service is always attentive and friendly. Good choice of wine by the glass - not cheap but much better than the average pub wine offerings.

This is was my first visit and the whole experience was good. The staff were very attentive. The whole atmosphere was amazing. The food is very good and tasted really nice.
Its a nice treat restaurant for special occasions. Put a message online when i booked the table and they did a candle on the pudding for my girlfriend.

Vegetarians beware. The main course menu offers a risotto or......... oh yes a Salad. Clearly not bothered or the chef has no imagination. Will never visit again.

This is a lovely country pub that has gone through several owners and revamps over the years. The current owners have made some great improvements and whilst the menu is very similar to The Forest not to far away in Feckenham, the food is consistently good and the service great.

This was our second visit and once again the food was excellent , but unfortunately the meal was spoilt by 1) our table was wobbly , 2) its proximity to the serving station meant the waitresses were a little too eager to serve us and it was right by the door leading to the cloakrooms so there was constance traffic going pass.
