Description: The Anglesey Arms is an old building built in 1736 with the traditional wooden beams running throughout the pub. We are right next to the castle itself and built into the castle walls which goes all the way around the town. We are a very popular destination especially in the summer with up to 300-400 people in and around. In the summer more often than not we have live music / bands all day everyday depending on the weather, we have the best views, beer on tap, and food served all day!!

Called here for dinner one night. Both of us had burgers which was very tasty. We sat outside to eat. The only complaint we had loads of dirty plates on tables outside that the seagulls loved

We stopped off here for lunch, service was ok, although we ordered starters and a main course, which both came at the same time, which did not make for a nice experience, due to the flies. Food was ok, not sure we would go there again.

Excellent meal and great value!
£13.95 for 3 courses before 5pm.
I had Prawns to Start.
Fish Pie with Greens as main, very tasty, packed with fish
And Bread&Butter Pudding (infused with Chocolate! Mmmm!) with Custard
Service was excellent, whole place including toilets was spotless and staff very friendly!
Parking was £3 but they knock that off your bill.
Main/evening menu looked excellent so will go back for sure.
Sea Food Rissotto with Monk Fish and Menai Mussells looked particularly appealing!

We spend a couple of nights here on our holidays listening to the entertainment that had been provided whilst sat outside on the tables even though it was raining. It does have an inside restaurant which looked very nice to but was all booked up so instead we enjoyed a Home made Pizza which was made and cooked fresh outside in their ovens and enjoyed it along with a few drinks to. Had an excellent couple or nights out their. where you can also enjoy the wonderfully views of the Menia straights
