1 review A lovely cottage within a beautiful setting. The accommodation was comfortable, clean and in keeping with the style of the cottage. The people were very friendly and helpful but discreet giving us the feeling of privacy. An excellent base to explore the Breacon Beacons or to just relax and enjoy the view.

What a wonderful 3 days! The saddlery cottage is part of the striking gothic revival house set in stunning countryside. Beautifully renovated to a high standard with comfortable beds and a great kitchen, set in gorgeous grounds. We had some wonderful walks around the lake, up onto the Beacons, and a foraging trip with Liz Knight. Great day trip to Hay on Wye (30 minutes), plus reliable local taxi allowed us to fully experience local restaurants.
Instructions were perfect, and neighbours were extremely welcoming. Fantastic property, location and hosts.

A group of us stayed for a painting holiday and found the newly converted saddlery cottage, , spacious and beautiful.
We wished we were staying longer. A good base for walking sketching and exploring the area
It is close to the Main House Treberfydd and the delightful Walled Garden Centre which is open to the public

We stayed there for a week in June, the cottage is very spacious, cozy and clean. Even if very near the main house it is very private and the setting is beautiful. We used it as a base for day hiking trips in the area. The location is convenient, near the lake and not far from Brecon and nearby villages. Highly recommended.

The cottage has a serene atmosphere. The views are spectacular. Woods not far from the cottage and beautiful gardens.
