We hadn't been here for years because we had been put off by past experiences. But, after a recommendation, we dropped in for a late lunch and were amazed at the incredible transformation to a really smart country inn with wonderful views. It has improved almost beyond recognition. The staff were nice and friendly and the food we had was excellent. I had the sausage and mash and hubbie just had the quiche and salad - both were very good and tasty though. We will definitely be returning to try one of their sunday roasts. It will also be a nice place to sit on the terrace in the summertime. The car park has been extended so there is a lower parking area aswell so don't be put off if the upper car park is full. It was certainly busy and popular the day we went. Prices were from around £10 for a main.
