Description: Spice Quarter is on the first floor of the popular restaurant hub, the Old Brewery Quarter in Cardiff city centre. Unlike the capital’s tens of ‘cheap eat’ restaurants, Spice Quarter places itself in the a la carte fine dining set. They've got the contemporary look right. And the food’s genuinely excellent. Visible hard at work in the glass fronted kitchen, each of the five chefs, recruited from luxury hotels in Delhi and Bombay, specialises in cooking from their regional home. So from the street-side eateries of Punjab comes a smooth butter chicken, while a Malabari fish curry could have come direct from the South Indian coast.

Visited this restaurant before going to the boxing at the stadium, was a nice meal and really nice food. They had a packed restaurant due to the boxing and still managed to serve food quickly and too a good standard. Quite expensive but worth the money for a good indian. A great find if wanting an indian in Cardiff.

Although the staff seemed to be a little overwhelmed to combine Early Bird orders with regular menu orders, the food was very good.

Attended this restaurant after traveling to Cardiff for Joshua boxing match. They specially made my husband and I a beautiful chicken balti from scratch as it wasn’t on the menu.
Although the boxing Weigh in had happened and there were some loud, quite drunk people about, the staff were fantastic and very professional.
One of the best curry’s we have ever had.

Great restaurant with great good. Perhaps a little impersonal but still good polite service. Food tasted wonderful but small portions. 4 king prawns for 17 pounds. Korma was delicious.
