Back to the titanic for four nights just to get away and relax, that’s why we pick this hotel.Reception are now so friendly and so helpful.Damien was off sick when we arrived so we had to take our own luggage to our room,he was back on the Wednesday so he lightens everyone with his chatter and can’t do enough for you.nice to see tracy at breakfast she never changes so helpful to everyone.Found the new breakfast layout a lot better food kept warmer and even fresh orange juice, and you don’t have to put your toast in twice.Hope to be back before Christmas

This is a seriously impressive hotel. Of course, the location helps - a hotel built into the original offices of the legendary Belfast shipyard, including the drawing room in which the Titanic was designed.

But its not just the quirky elegance of the building that makes this such an enjoyable place to stay. There's also a real sense of pride from the staff. They are friendly, happy, committed to customer service. They make every interaction a pleasure.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. And I stay in many.

We stayed 2 nights including a birthday for my husband. The staff was lovely but mixed up the greetings, addressing a birthday card to me and putting a bottle of champagne in our room on arrival ( an extra £60) rather than on the actual day and there was no birthday cake ready at the dinner the following in evening. It made little difference; we enjoyed our time and didn’t take issue at such small issues. We stayed in one of the suites. Had great views with double aspect. The bathroom was a tad disappointing, not enough hanging space and the clean towels were just piled up on the shelf. Not great for a boutique hotel. The shower door was always slightly ajar. Limited hanging space too in the bedroom. Beds comfortable and accessories ok. We liked the breakfast (would recommend ordering freshly cooked eggs from the waiting staff), and the dinner in Wolff was lovely; great choice of wine. The hotel is in a really good location for the harbour airport (George Best) and for the Titanic museum. The centre of Belfast is also not far, a short taxi ride. As well as the Titanic museum, we visited Vertigo (sky diving tunnel) and the science museum, W5 all within east walking distance. We loved it, with our 8 year old. Parking is available at a discounted rate but still fairly costly. Get the ticket stamped before checking out for a discount. Photo is from our room, of the Titanic museum.

We had booked an online deal with this hotel. We had been looking forward for a while. The hotel was a good, staff were helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the deal had said we would be eating in the Wolff grill . Advertised as fine dining. We checked the menu on line and it did sound good. When we got to the restaurant it looked promising, this where the promise stopped. We were informed that it was a reduced menu that we could choose from. This still didn’t discourage us. When my starter arrived it even looked good. Unfortunately it was seriously over seasoned. My wife’s starter was meant to be a goats cheese tart which didn’t have much of a goats cheese flavour but was nice enough but nothing special.
When asked if we enjoyed our starter we informed our waitress that we did not. She said she would relay our dissatisfaction to the kitchen. When our main course arrived again it looked a good plate of food. The truth was it was worse than the starter. Way too much salt, vegetables partly cooked. The plate was hardly touched. My wife’s dinner was dried out chicken that was like cotton wool when she tried to eat it. Again it was left on the plate. It was clear that the chef did not taste his food before send it out as he wouldn’t have sent it out. Given that the waitress lifted the plates and we did say we were not impressed, no attempt to redress the meal or even be offered something else was made.
We left feeling hungry, disappointed and dissatisfied.
