About a 15mins drive from the centre of Belfast. Great views from the Castle. Free entry into the grounds of the Castle.

Belfast Castle gives you a stunning view over the city and the landscape. You can walk around inside as well as in the garden itself. There are walking routes starting from Belfast Castle suitable for Families or Experts. If you would like to take a walking tour I would recommend to check the routes and the weather first to make it most enjoyable. There is a café/restaurant at Belfast Castle and also toilet facilities.

The castle and surrounding grounds are fabulous. It's free to walk around and there is a nice visitors centre and restaurant there. The gardens offer beautiful views of Belfast.

Be prepared to walk up the hill from hell if you do not drive! The castle itself is absolutely stunning, the basement has informative videos and exhibits to demonstrate the history of the castle. So many photo opportunities, and a bit of "cat spotting" in the gardens for the kids!
