Warm, inviting atmosphere with friendly bar staff. Particularly the bartender Timi was very helpful and made excellent cocktails! One of my favourite bars for sure.

Called in on Saturday for late lunch with a friend. We ordered Burger chips and for myself fish and chips.
We seen our order coming out but the waitress brought it to a wrong table then brought it back into the kitchen.
Five minutes later it came back out again and over to us. By this stage of course it was cold. I explained to the waitress that i seen her bring it to another table and that is the reason it was cold. She took it away again and must have got it re dipped in the fryer as the fish batter was extra dark brown. And guess what the chips were still cold.
We ended up just eating it as we needed something in our belly.

Ordered drinks and waited over 20 mins. Walked to bar to ask if they forgot. Already 1/3 thru our food when we got them. 2nd margarita I ordered had to be sent back. Tasted like pure syrup w/o alcohol. Had to go to bar to ask again for bill. Stew was ok. Full of potatoes. My son enjoyed his curry dish. Lots of great looking food going to tables around us. Servers were nice just slow service. Someone who came in 15 mins after got food before us. Not sure why we had the slowest service.

Went for an early dinner at five o'clock they had a cocktail special between five pm and nine pm that meant their cocktails were four pounds instead of six. We both opted for 50/50 steak with chicken fillet , served on mash potato with pepper sauce at just under £20. Delicious. Followed with lemon cheese cake. Again this quickly disappeared. Staff attentive and friendly. Small problem with bill sorted out within one minute. Brilliant location beside Victoria Square shopping centre. Lots of families with babies sitting outside enjoying the sunshine. Inside tables on ground floor with slightly smaller seating area up three stairs. You can sit and watch the world go by. Shop till you drop and the call in for good food.

One of the great thing about Ireland is that many of it's fine pubs offer quite good food as well.

Close to the Victoria Square Shopping Mall in downtown Belfast, Northern Ireland is a lovely restaurant called the Kitchen Bar.

It's the kind of comfortable place that friends and families can gather for a good meal.

The menu includes many traditional pub fare items.

This night I chose the "roast dinner" which is very traditional in Irish pubs. It consisted of a generous portion of roast pork, mashed potatoes, veggies and lots of gravy. My partner chose the beefsteak pie.
Talk about comfort food. Both were hearty and delicious.

Like most pubs in Ireland, service is friendly and efficient.

A nice way to end a day of shopping.
