Description: Part of the Beechill Inns group which includes the Beechill Inn, The Basement Bar & Grill and McCracken's Cafe Bar, Queen's has been serving Belfast the best in simple, honest, locally sourced food for over a century! Neatly tucked down the opulent Queen's Arcade in the heart of Belfast city, Queen's Cafe Bar has been and is the perfect pit stop on a busy shopping trip, or a brief respite from the daily rat race. Our menu, put together personally by our head chef is a sample of some classic European pub dishes with a few traditional Irish staples to keep the most discerning customer happy. Our wines have been specially selected to complement our menu or simply to be enjoyed on their own & the bar staff is always happy to help you decide which wine would best suit your tastes. Our cocktail list is focused on fresh ingredients, fine spirits and a few of your old favourites. If you can't find the cocktail you're looking for just ask our bar team who will be happy to mix you your drink of choice!

We came her because we happened to be in the centre and didn’t want to walk about too much. Chances were we could have landed iba dreadful place, but far from that. The food was very good. I recommend the fish chowder, which was delicious. The waitress was very nice, giving us recommendations and suggesting we order our food all at once as the kitchen was about to close. Very nice choice of a bar to grab very nice food

I've tried a lot of Seafood Chowders in my time and found this to be the best one ever (I think it beats Mourne's). Loads of fish in it and it was absolutely delicious. Comes in 2 sizes at a very reasonable price. Good service too, well done.

We were looking for someplace to eat and we were surrounded by places that were either closed, full or didn't appeal. We saw a sign for the Friday night special and decided to give it a shot. It's around a corner down something like a small alley so it takes some looking for, but it's well worth the trip. Excellent food, attentive service and the Smithwick's is cold.

We decided to give this place a go for late lunch today and came away wishing we hadn't! Over salted, broken bits of chips, cold stir fried vegetables let alone very poor service from a disinterested waitress. The waitress left us waiting over ten minutes for the bill while she chatted to her friend inside the bar but when she decided to take the conversation outside and join her other friends, we decided to approach another staff member and get the bill. We couldn't believe it! Lesson learned, never again, just a pity I hadn't read some of the reviews here before stepping inside!

Food is amazing!! Everything so fresh and full of flavour. Loved the home cut chips and homemade lasagna. Great spot just beside city hall, very cheap for amazing quality , staff were so nice and helpful too
