Arrived to a warm welcome by Maureen. Our room was clean and we had a lovely view of the mourns. The garden was beautiful and we sat out in the evening sun. Breakfast in the morning was one of the best we've had. Maureen and her staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. A quiet, relaxing stay. We shall definitely be staying again.

We were treated so well here, and we met others who return again and again because of that. The inn is in the country outside Newcastle, the grounds are impeccably groomed. We walked every evening. The bed we had in #9 was so comfortable I could have lived there, and the breakfast was awesome. Outside our window was a pasture with sheep and wee lambs. It was quiet and friendly and everything you would want from a b&b.

Beautifully clean and well appointed rooms - I recently stayed 14 nights in room 8. Big comfy bed, heated towel rail and hot shower which were welcome in January. The fast, secure, reliable Wi-Fi connection was perfect for business and keeping in touch with home. Tasty breakfasts with a wide range of choices. Very quiet and peaceful at night. Lovely views of the snow-capped Mourne Mountains. Maureen is absolutely lovely and went out of her way to make my stay a pleasant one. Nothing was too much trouble - thanks, Maureen and Marion, much appreciated. Jayne D.

Room Tip: Room 8 has views over fields and mountains

A lovely B&B situated on the outskirts of Newcastle. We had a very warm welcome on a bitterly cold, windy day. We had a great view of the snow on the mountains.
There was tea/ coffee making facilities in our room and there was also a comfortable sitting room, again with tea/ coffee facilities.
The staff were very helpful and ordered a taxi for us to go into Newcastle for an evening meal.
Our breakfast was extremely good, it was a good start to the day.
The only blip was the heat, which was excellent when we arrived & when we went to sleep, but did not come on in the morning.
Once we reported it the problem was rectified and our room soon heated up.
A good base to go walking in the mountains or just a wander around Tullymore Forest Park.

Nice and clean, good location and great breakfast in the morning (I had the Ulster fry) Only a few minutes in the car from Newcastle town centre but felt secluded and quiet. We had a deluxe room which was spacious! Only down side was that few of tv channels wouldn’t work

Thank you for your review. I've checked the TV and can get 6 channels. I hope that this will be OK for future guests and we would look forward to welcoming you back.
