Our second stay at Kribben and again we have no faults or complaints. Excellent accommodation in a beautiful setting. We would highly recommend

“Cottage perfection in perfect surroundings”
Reviewed 16 December 2015 for a stay in December 2015

Stayed for 2 nights at Moolieve Cottage, one of 3 cottages and 2 houses that comprise Kribben Cottages.

Beautiful setting with the sea one side and the stunning Mourne Mountains the other, both visible from the dining table. Attention to detail in the cottage is exceptional - character uneven walls, tiled floors, wood burner, well-equipped kitchen and utility room, beautiful bedrooms. Main bathroom is stunning and en-suite shower huge. Underfloor heating makes walking on the tiled floor a delight and automatic lighting makes late night wanders simple. Wireless internet access worked flawlessly.

The cottage is very spacious and the living room has patio doors that open onto a very well kept, decked garden area, with gorgeous views. There is secure, private parking with electric gates which, along with the beautiful stone walls that surround the cottages, provide a safe, extensive area should anyone visit with children or animals.

The owner Myrtle, a lovely lady, greeted us upon arrival and left some delicious freshly baked scones and shortbread. Myrtle had even put Christmas decorations in the cottage, which made it even more special.

We have no hesitation in recommending the cottages to family, friends and anyone who wants to visit this area and we are already looking forward to visiting again. Only downside is that the cottage is so gorgeous that you may not want to leave, not even to take in the stunning surrounding area. If you book, you will not be disappointed.

“Perfect cottage in a spectacular location”
Reviewed 11 November 2015 for a stay in November 2015

Stayed a long weekend at Kribben Cottages (Crannoge).

The setting is beautiful with a backdrop of Annalong woods and the Mourne Mountains. The cottage is one of 5 cottages in a quaint development surrounded by Mourne walls.

The cottages have secure private parking with electric gates. The cottage itself is perfect with two bedrooms, the master with a great en suite, the main bathroom is terrific, the photos hardly do it justice. The living room has a large flat screen tv, a wood burning stove, the cottage has underfloor heating and hot water on demand via a gas combi boiler it also has patio doors unto a decked garden area. The kitchen is very in keeping with the cottage and has a dishwasher, the utility room has a clothes washer.

The owner's son, Gavin, greeted us upon arrival, handed over the keys, left some fresh scones and the password to the high-speed broadband which worked flawlessly throughout our stay. The owner, Myrtle, called by on the evening we arrived to check everything was fine, which of course it was.

We have recommended the cottages to both family and friends and will certainly return again. I have no hesitation in recommending it. Go ahead and book it, you will fall in love wth it!

“We didn't want to leave!”
Reviewed 16 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

What a place! We have young children and a dog and booked Moolieve for the weekend, along with my parents and siblings with their partners and young families who booked the other houses, for a birthday celebration weekend. The location is spectacular - sea views on one side and the dramatic Mourne mountains behind us. The cottage had everything we needed and so much more. So homely yet all mod cons and well thought out. Even the homemade scones and buns on arrival were delicious! The words which everybody, including the children (and the dog if he could speak) were - We don't want to leave here ever!!! The outside area was so secure and well-equipped for the children to play together, from early morning until sunset! We can't wait to come back!
