I attended this little church as a child - and played the piano for the Youth Fellowship. Having returned to Derry recently as a visitor - and walking the Walls, St. Augustine's brought back many precious memories.
Canon McKegney ALWAYS greeted everyone with a smile and I understand there is a wonderful man there who now tells the history of the church to visitors - this is great

St. Augustine.s is inside the city walls. A wonderful church volunteer showed us around both the interior and exterior of the church. Given the fact it was a Sunday between services, we really appreciated this.

A lovely little church inside the walls of the city and a stop on our walk around. Not big but worth a look inside.

St. Augustine's is a warm, welcoming church filled with Irish charm, spirituality and hospitality. Having visited Northern Ireland several times, we make sure to visit this church each time to enjoy it's historic and magical feel. Nestled in the city walls, you can imagine the times, troubles and changes the church has experienced over it's turbulent past. Somehow it has come out more meaningful and sincere as a result. Well worth the visit!
